M&NA BROKERAGE · SME SUCCESSION & GROWTH · ZURICH, SWITZERLAND
The right merger, for both sides.
M&NA (merger, not acquisition) brings two companies from the same industry together, so each side gets what it came for. If you're selling, your company goes to a partner whose leadership already knows your market, your customers and your work. Most of your team stays, and what you built keeps going. If you're buying, you grow into a new region or market with an established team, loyal customers and a reputation already in place, instead of starting from zero. Each company brings its own strengths, and together they reach further than either could alone.
WHERE DO YOU STAND?
Two sides of the same table. One process.
M&NA runs sell-side and buy-side mandates the same way, same-industry match first, continuity built in, price set by what the two companies produce together.
Grow into a new region without starting from zero.
Merge with an established, same-industry business, existing team, existing customers, existing reputation, instead of building one from scratch. No fee to explore.
Sell to someone who'll keep it running.
A confidential, same-industry buyer search built around price and continuity, not a liquidation sale. No cash retainer; success fee only at closing.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions we hear most
-
A typical broker builds a wide buyer list and pitches your company to whoever fits on paper, often financial buyers with no connection to your trade. We start narrower, and prioritize same-industry buyers: operators who already know how to run what they're buying, have a concrete reason to pay a premium, and are far more likely to keep your team and your name in place instead of folding you into a generic playbook.
-
No. Introducing buyers and sellers and negotiating a transaction doesn't require a FINMA license, as long as we're not managing assets or dealing in securities on your behalf. We work alongside your trustee and lawyer, who handle the parts of the process that do require their own licenses.
-
Yes, on both sides. We never run a public listing. Companies are introduced to each other individually under NDA, starting with an anonymized blind profile before either name is disclosed.
-
It's shorthand for how we work: merger, not acquisition. Instead of treating a sale as a straight buyout, we prioritize same-industry buyers who are merging to grow, which tends to mean better continuity for the team and a better price for the seller.
-
We're not limited to one sector. Most of our mandates are trades and SME businesses, manufacturing, services, and similar, where a same-industry buyer is realistic to find. If your industry has very few comparable operators in Switzerland, we'll tell you that upfront.
-
For sellers, there's no cash retainer, GEO & LinkedIn positioning is booked instead (CHF 600/month, see the seller page for detail). For buyers, exploring a target costs nothing. Either way, nobody pays a success fee until a deal actually closes.
-
That's part of what the first conversation is for. If you tell us a specific competitor shouldn't be approached, we leave them out of the search entirely, no exceptions.
-
You can pause or walk away. Nothing is public until you decide it should be, so stepping back doesn't cost you visibility or leave any trace with buyers, competitors, or staff.
-
No, and we won't pretend to. We coordinate closely with your lawyer, trustee, and bank throughout, but the parts of the process that require their license stay with them.
-
We never run a public listing. Every introduction, on either side, starts anonymized and under NDA, so your name, or the target's, is only disclosed once both sides want to keep talking.
